GENERAL MANAGER

ABOUT

The incumbent's mandate is to ensure that the launch of the new technology startup runs smoothly, that the objectives set out in the business plan and strategic planning are achieved, and that the startup continues to grow.  In addition to this role, the General Manager is also responsible for establishing and maintaining the company's culture in line with the organization's values.   

To fulfill these responsibilities, the General Manager oversees, coordinates, and actively participates in all corporate functions, including Sales, Marketing, Accounting & Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and R&D.

Job type : Full time

Salary : 80 K$ à 100 K$ per year

Schedule : Monday to friday, week-end if needed

Experience : Minimum 5 years of management experience.

  • Ensure company operations align with the established business plan

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor company performance using key performance indicators

Personnel management level

  • Ensure the communication of relevant information to the teams concerned
  • Manage staff under his/her supervision
  • Promote and maintain a harmonious work environment
  • Supporting staff in developing their skills
  • Encourage initiative

You are qualified and have the following skills:

Education

  • University degree in administration, management, or related field
  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) (an asset)

Professional Experience

  • Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Management experience in a startup company
  • Experience in startup financing
  • Project management experience (an asset)
